      About the house: Good sized rooms, great lounge/kitchen, plenty of private parking. Property managers were great. Downstairs flat so got plenty of noise from people walking around upstairs.


      Landlord/Property Manager: Managed by Edinburgh Realty and they were quite good to deal with. Had a an after hours number, problems sorted quickly.


      Best Thing: Layout/size


      Worst Thing: Distance to uni/noise from other rooms

      About the house: Reasonably warm flat - the front room gets very warm from the sun, but the bedrooms are cold. Can hear the upstairs neighbours when they run/jump but nothing too bad. Shower pressure is great but hot water heats during the day so if everyone wants to shower in the morning the hot water will run out.


      Landlord/Property Manager: Landlord is great, comes around to do work on the property occasionally. Property manager is pretty gruff - he will fix things when asked but was grumpy when we asked him to explain the rent increase. Manager increased rent without talking to everyone in the flat.


      Best Thing: Front room gets really warm! Also the shower pressure is great and the garden is really nice


      Worst Thing: Condensation and mould on the windows in winter

      About the house: Warm lounge, 4/6 bedrooms get good sun. Not that cold compared to other flats. Good living area. Poor soundproofing in ceiling so you can hear upstairs. Overall good. Easy parking, good property manager. Hot water cylinder small, shower pressure high, so short showers or cold showers for everyone after 10 mins. 3 toilets useful. 15 mins fast walk to central.

      Best Thing: Warmth, shower


      Worst Thing: Small kitchen, small hot water cylinder

      About the house: Positives: 2 bathrooms, relatively quiet area, theoretically comes with an off street carpark. Big rooms. Wrapped hot water cylinder and shower domes in both bathrooms. Negatives: Walls are a bit thin so can hear people talking in the rooms next to you. Lounge could be bigger for a 5 person flat. One of the rooms is above the lower flats lounge so can hear parties almost as if you are in the room with them. One room is south facing and doesn't get much sun.


      Landlord/Property Manager: Pretty decent guy, sometimes takes him a while to get anything sorted tho.


      Best Thing: Big rooms and well maintained public areas.


      Worst Thing: Size of living area

      About the house: very warm for a student flat. chuck the heat pump/heaters on during power hour and your set for the rest of the night. A little bit far from uni and a bit dark in the rooms down the hallway but those are the only real negatives. Right round the corner from Willowbank dairy so there will be no shortage in hot-chip supply (good or bad depending on perspective)


      Landlord/Property Manager: good man, speedy replies. probably be the best man at my wedding because hes more reliable than any of my friends.


      Best Thing: warm


      Worst Thing: upstairs neighbors are loud

      About the house: Overall a pretty good flat for how much you pay. Quiet place, great shower. Hot water tank must be very small for a five bedroom place - we always ran out. High ceilings, living space heated up quickly once someone started cooking and heating was on.


      Landlord/Property Manager: Super responsive, sorted problems out usually same day as we reported! Also great guy!


      Best Thing: Very quiet location, easy to heatonce heat living space when heat pump us on, shower pressure is amazing


      Worst Thing: Dark, high ceilings, upstairs in very noisey - it is the downstairs flat

      About the house: Very warm flat, fully double glazed and has wall and ceiling insulation. Shower pressure is amazing. No mould on the ceiling and walls which is decent. Good sized living room and kitchen, doesn't have a pantry though. Can get to st davs in 10 minutes if you're fast. Can hear upstairs tenants but if they're chill this won't be a problem. Really good laundry and 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms was very handy. Ours was one of the flats in the new half of the complex which is at the back, far nicer than the front ones would recommend.


      Landlord/Property Manager: Very quick replies and helpful, gets things sorted ASAP


      Best Thing: Warmth


      Worst Thing: Lack of soundproofing
