94 Dundas Street
About the house: Small rooms but easy to heat, brick mortar inside falling away
Landlord/Property Manager: Difficult to negotiate with (bit rude and impolite)
Best Thing: Proximity to uni
Worst Thing: Old and dusty
About the house: very dark in lounge, gross backyard area
Landlord/Property Manager: He's pretty cool, young so can relate to him
Best Thing: location
Worst Thing: gross bathroom and dark
About the house: Good:
- Cheap as rent
- Reasonable sized living area
- Nice Pressure in the shower
- Rooms are well designed maximising the space
- Single glazing
- Washing machine can leave fluff
- Steep stairs
- Three rooms don't get sun in the winter
Landlord/Property Manager: Tell them if anything ever goes wrong they as usually very happy to help. They replaced our fridge because the seal was broken very quickly.
Best Thing: Price
Worst Thing: Temperature
About the house: Helpful landlord. Really good built in storage, the only things you need to supply for 3/4 bedrooms is a desk chair and a mattress (3rd story bedroom only has a rail to hang clothes on, no shelves etc - but it is the nicest room other than that).
Open living - dining - kitchen. Shower pressure is good, but bathroom tends to grow a lot of mould every few months - old landlord only painted over it (new landlord for 2017 onwards).
Gets very cold in the winter because of the brick walls but doesn't take much to heat the main living area.
Landlord/Property Manager: New landlord so haven't interacted much but she seems really nice and helpful.
Best Thing: Bedroom storage + open living kitchen
Worst Thing: COLD
