About the house: very mouldy bathroom! not very often get direct sunlights. dirty carpets.

Landlord/Property Manager: Ever since they changed owner and new property agency, everything was getting better. They have made some changes to our common area, for example, added in new cabinets and changed new carpet etc.

About the house: The room and ensuite itself is spacious as well as the in-room fridge and microwave, the internet is pretty reliable and fast despite the number of users. The large windows in the room give a really nice view and make it feel spacious, but they also mean heat drains pretty quickly when the heatpump isn't on (luckily power is included) and condensation builds up pretty heavily. The kitchen is spacious and rarely gets crowded, there is a really nice deck for the warmer days. One stove is fine but takes a while to heat up, the other stove is really slow and basically everyone avoids it. Communal freezer space is alright but you have to be careful not to hog space - a large chest freezer would be an awesome addition. The rooms seem to be well insulated for sound as we never hear anything, and through you'll be happy about the free heating and hot water (the hot water does run short at peak times) which means in winter you stay cozy.

Landlord/Property Manager: Property manager is good, responds promptly (usually same/one business day) and gets issued resolved quickly.

Best Thing: Included power/internet so less to worry about and you stay warm.

Worst Thing: Sucky stovetop and not much sun.

About the house: The room was a welcome change from the majority of the crappy flats in Dunedin. This was warm and dry and had a view. The rent was a bit steep considering the run down and tiered nature of the room and the untidy common areas.

Landlord/Property Manager: Only dealt directly with the landlord on one occasion and they were very helpful and fast at responding. But for everything else the Property Managers were the middle men. They did not do a very good job. Very slack communication I would often wait weeks to get a response to an email and it began to get very tiresome having to constantly chase them.

      Best Thing: Warmth and Sunlight

Worst Thing: Property Manager and the noise from the tenants in the above bedroom
